After four months in Jogja, this stands as my favorite coffee shop, albeit I have been limited until now by not having a motorbike. With that said, I don’t foresee this one leaving the upper ranks any time soon.Character (4)

First off I will say, don’t base your impressions off the first floor. The bread and butter lies upstairs. It has a great clean and open feel to it, as the walls are almost entirely open (no AC). This also proves to be great during rainy season, when you can relax and listen to the rain.

Comfort (2)

There is no AC upstairs and very poor AC downstairs. This may be a deal breaker for some, but personally I don’t mind.

Upstairs has many very comfortable couch chairs, so it’s perfect for relaxing, whether alone or in a group. For every seat, there is also a table, so great for doing work.

The lack of AC is really the only thing keeping the comfort as low as a 7 here.

Coffee (2)

The coffee isn’t bad…draft coffee only. It’s certainly not the cheapest coffee. I would say it’s slightly better than say Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts.

This is a great coffee shop to visit. The only real complaint is no AC, which can make extended stays a bit less relaxing (especially while drinking hot coffee), but I will definitely continue to frequent this shop. It’s a great place to grab a pretty cheap and decent cup of coffee and relax for a bit.
