After returning to Jogjakarta, an old friend of mine told me about a new coffee shop that just opened up and is pretty cool. Very soon thereafter he took me there, and I must say it is really nice. In the middle of a lot of houses and small warengs, it’s out of place but an absolute gem.

Character (4)

The front wall is just solid windows with the other walls pretty much the same. There’s an awesome outside seating area with really cool table top designs, along with a few murals as well. It’s pretty simple with just enough touch of color and design to make it not boring. They even have some nice plants.

Comfort (4)

Fantastic! There are many sofas. On top of that, all the chairs are nice as well. The AC was rocking, and the outside area would be great for the evening. I loved the music too. The volume is pretty high though, but I find it gives you some privacy when talking. I got great vibes there.

As mentioned before, the natural lighting from all the windows is second to none.

Coffee (3)

The coffee was delicious. I have no complaints on the taste, but I give it a 4 mostly because they only have one single origin available per day. It’s not that big of a deal, but not having a choice or not being able to order two different coffees alongside each other is a bummer. Also the price does get expensive if you get Chemex.

Price: 25k (V60), 30k (chemex); 25k latte

Brewing Methods: V60, Chemex, French press, Kalita Wave (not available when I was there), AeroPress (I think…)

Single Origin? yes (only 1)

Overall Rating: 4

Recommended? Yes

I might be biased because this shop is still new to me, but this has become my favorite coffee shop in Jogja. It has plenty of table seating, couch seating, and outside seating for whatever you desire. I really have no complaints about my experience minus the lack of multiple S.O. options. Check it out!
