This is truly a unique and awesome coffee shop. It’s got predominantly concrete with some nice wooden accents. It also has some cool Edison lamps and a great outdoor seating area.

Comfort (4)

Inside is nice and cool (good AC). The music is really good and at a good sound level. The Internet works great, and there are many outlets (and even some universal outlets so you don’t need an adapter).

The seatings are just flat wood, so they’re kind of hard. I noticed last time I was there though that the ones outside had cushions on them.

Coffee (2)

The coffee was delicious. Also they are rocking a La Marzocco Linea espresso machine, which is a rare sight in Indonesia. The only real negative is the price. It costs 35k, making it tied with Epic for the most expensive coffee I’ve found in Jogja, and I have even seen the price go as high as 50k for imported beans. Also they run out a lot. On the positive side, espresso drinks are normal price.

Price: 35-50k (single origin), 22k (cappuccino)

Brewing Methods: V60, AeroPress

Single Origin? yes, 3 options

Overall Rating: 4

Recommended? yes

Honestly, if it wasn’t for it being so expensive, Hayati would probably be my favorite coffee shop in Jogja. It is super good quality coffee and a super cool space.
